On the rare occasion that this happens, there are three possible scenarios that can cause too much space around the baby’s neck, making it possible for their head to slip out of the float:
1. There is a puncture or tear and Otteroo is slowly leaking / deflating.
SOLUTION: Perform the bubble test to verify. If there is a leak, STOP USING IT IMMEDIATELY.
2. Otteroo was not properly and fully inflated.
SOLUTION: Do the palm test to make sure you’ve fully inflated the Otteroo before each use.
3. The Otteroo is too big.
SOLUTION: Perform the finger test to verify fit.
