We highly recommend that you familiarize your baby with the Otteroo in the bath first. And when you're ready to take your baby to the pool, get them in the water without the Otteroo first, only putting the Otteroo on once they’re used to the temperature. We suggest this because pools are often chilly, and can be shocking (even to us!). We don't want your baby to associate the cold temperature shock with the Otteroo (then they may not want to try it again even in the comfort of a warm bath!).
